The Submission workshop far exceeded my expectations and led me to self-reflect which revealed things about myself that I wasn’t aware of. I went in thinking of submission primarily as submitting to my husband, authority and to God’s will. However, the workshop went deeper and showed me that there were other things that needed to be submitted or handed over to God. The most profound lesson I walked away with is that I need to submit my need for affirmation and praise to God instead of from people. I tend to hang on to people’s opinion/affirmation which causes a yoyo effect. I’m up when I’m praised and down when I don’t receive the praise I think I need. We cannot always please people, no matter what we do. I need to submit to God’s plan for my life, regardless of if I am affirmed by people. If I am doing what God has called me to do and submitted to His will, that is all the affirmation or confirmation I need! Thanks for this lesson Donna!!

The Empowerment Seminar was extremely well-planned and filled with content that kept the participants engaged and active throughout.
